Nobody, and not just the gaming industry, but no industry really wants to build up a brand anymore. It's either instant success or write-off and move on.

I know it was posted over in the fallout tv show thread but once again GAMERS ARE WINNING

 

Nothing like bringing back a cult brand only to do everything with it but the thing that made it a cult brand.

 

It's amazing what you can do when you're not either trying to stretch out a paper thin plot to feature length or trying to cram a 60-hour plot into a 2-hour film.

 

yeah this is true which is why they tried the remake in the first place easier to revive an old IP than cook up a new survival horror game

 

I don’t even know marathon but I just know bungie will ruin it

it also helps they’ve got like 5 games worth of lore and vaults at their choosing

 

skill up was saying how the new subclass looks very game breaking and the kind of thing you put into your game when you’re pretty much done with it so this makes sense

 

New details about the subclass came out today and it doesn’t look *quite* as game breaking as we originally thought. But still mostly agree with this. If they were to continue the game after this expansion I’m not sure where they would even go with it.

 

I can’t remember which destiny it was but one time me and my cousins were doing one of those like dungeons or bosses or whatever they called I forgot and I ended up falling asleep while playing and it was at the last part and they had to quit because of me lmao

 

I haven’t played destiny 2 at all since the witch queen maybe I’ll jump on this next xpac

 

They just released a big new free update yesterday so now’s a great time if you want to just fuck around a bit. Biggest things are a new wave based horde mode and a lot of new OP weapons.

 

Ripping off Gears and Halo now haha

 

Ok credits just rolled on Yakuza 4.

What a game. Much preferred it to 3. I can see why this game might have been decisive and in a sense I agree. It was quite jarring having so many new playable characters, and to not get to play as Kiryu until so late. Yet, I feel the story was great. I loved how it tied to the first game AND 0. Plus I thought it was cool having everyone come together Avengers style at the end. I really liked these characters, and I'm hoping most of them show up in future games. I read Yakuza 5 has more characters than this, and it's a new engine? Good, cuz this was engine they used in 3 and 4 was starting to show it's age. Definitely looking forward to seeing what crazy shenanigans we get up to next!

This is because Grubb just goes off of whatever he hears, regardless of any foundation

 

First episode was great, they nailed the aesthetic and feel of Fallout.

 

Speaking of Fallout (idk if this means you can upgrade for free from old ps4 discs to play the ps5 version, would be nice though. I never actually beat 4)
