I have never heard of this artist but I am very intrigued. Listening now.

 

Okay this album is 2 hours long so I will not even make a dent in listening but what I have heard before is uh...amazing?

It is not on any streaming services. I had to download it from their GEOCITIES WEBSITE.

And then, I put it in my library and it isn’t syncing properly to my phone.

Honestly a (first-world) nightmare, but the album is great and I’ve been listening to it a lot while working.

i have imported wav files into my apple music like a hundred times at this point and i still feel that i have to re-teach myself every time lol

 

I can get like half the album to show up on my phone and the rest won’t sync lol

 

I thought I was just entering old territory that I couldnt get it to work, sort of relieved right now to learn others struggle as well haha

 

Feeling very old because I had an incredibly easy time importing this into Apple Music and converting to mp3s so I could sync them to my phone

 

I added to Apple Music but the tags were being weird so I had to make a playlist to have the album in one place even after I cleaned it all up and reimported. Didn't have to convert to MP3 to listen from my phone though. Worth it tho

 

If you have never downloaded an album and had to clean up the tags and metadata I do not relate to you

 

This is what happened to me! Usually it lets me edit multiple songs’ info and it didn’t this time, so I went through one by one and it made like three different versions of the same album.

That's a great review. Well deserved score too!

I've yet to download the WAV file; just been streaming it from my laptop in my office. But even when I'm not actively listening to it, the songs still echo and blur in my head. This album really sticks with you.

Their Chicago show was not sold out until the Pitchfork review dropped and after it sold out instantly

 

this is really special, reminds me a lot of what the night people label used to release when they were active. had also never heard their previous releases but i was always a big fan of women.
