Can someone explain to me how NBA TV works? I downloaded the NBA app and tried watching the SA/NO game cause it says it's on NBA TV, not league pass. So I figured it would be like the espn app where it asks you to sign in to your cable account (I use my moms) and then it'll let you watch

But I'm getting this message:

 

Is the game on a local channel? That's usually why.

 

I don't think you can stream NBATV games regardless because they're always considered nationally broadcast games
