They made games out of the Saves The Day albums?

I’m starting Trials of Mana and choosing one of six main characters. Do I have to do six playthrough to get the whole story?

    Player's Log: Boundless Trails.

    Finished Act 4 and 5.

Still got Act 6, the Finale, the Epilogue, and then I can tackle New Game+. A lot to do.

My brain is still trying to connect these events to the larger Trails saga. Is that a Stigma? Is that a Sept-Terrion? No, Penlab, it's not.

The main items the interwebs believes might connect this game to the rest of the series is that one character in particular resembles the Grandmaster, who is still a big mystery, but I think that's more coincidence than anything else. There's also the hero's last name Herschel, but I can't fathom why that would matter in terms of the Towa of it all.

The big heavy hitter though is that in Boundless Trails, the key thing is that the world went through a vague disaster that caused part of the world to be destroyed. And in the Trails series proper, it's been brought up that there's some vague thing called the Beyond and that people who try to leave the continent of Zemuria get pulled right back, a'la Lost's island.

Is Zemuria that piece of the world that got "destroyed" and is the Beyond really the part of the planet where Nayuta and company live? It's a very shaky connection considering everything else in the game, but that could also be attributed to separation causing civilizations to diverge.

Anyway, maybe I'll get more clues in the rest of the game. Maybe I won't! Maybe the cake is a lie!

I haven't played yet but didn't I tell you going off user reviews (steam, reddit) that it's POSSIBLY connected? Hope you're enjoying it and get some confirmation!

I mean, you told me that, and we had many a discussion about what that actually meant and if it was even true or not.

And so far, my report back is that it's not. I'm hoping that changes, but it's not looking likely.

EDIT: Still a fun game though, do recommend.

It's beautiful. They kept so many little things from the original, like the silly dancing guys at the shops lol

Kevin is a fkin powerhouse and Angela wrecks shit with her magic. Great trio to pick!

I got into SSX with the third game. That shit was fire. I wish they’d reboot that franchise.

Also,,,, remake THUG!!!!! A current gen version would probably sell insanely well.

I remember my first was SSX Tricky, but I remember falling in love with 3 and it's OST. I remember the first time I heard Yellowcard - Way Away and Thrice - Stare At The Sun.....amazing times. And agreed on THUG, those were my favorites of the franchise, I really wished they would've remastered those a couple years back when they remastered the first games.

    Player's Log: Boundless Trails.

In the final act and (enters final area map screen) WHAT IN TARNATION IS THIS H.R. GIGER LOOKIN HORSECRAP???

Anyway, very curious how this all pans out as this slowly further encroaching End Of The World sounds mysteriously similar to the slowly further encroaching desertification in the main Trails series.

I should also say that some people who visit the island claim to be from some Empire, but they don't say Erebonia, so who knows.

people criticize the politics of bioshock infinite and rightfully so but that always felt like a sub plot of the game compared to the heady mindfuck multi verse theory stuff which is what I truly love about it’s story and the big twist and reveals that happens in the final 20-30 minutes. Experiencing that for the first time is one of the most memorable video game experiences I have ever had right up there with the Witcher 3’s final act which I absolutely adore

Just in time for Bioshock discussion. All of them are great.

By the way, there are SO MANY good games on GamePass right now. Downloaded the following:
    Lil Gator Game
    Lego 2K Drive
    Evil West
    The Quarry
    Control
    Spongebob
    Paw Patrol
    Bluey

There are a few others but this will keep me busy
