That had some fun parts, but way too long. Overall kind of a disappointing first night outside of Sami winning. Still excited for tomorrow’s main event though.

 

Tomorrow is gonna rule. Bayley vs Io still my pick for sleeper match of the entire weekend

 

What’s up with Rocks skin tho? Maybe I don’t wanna try his skin care line

 

I can't think of a single good reason for Rock to get the pinfall there.

 

If Drew loses tomorrow after all that he's a goober

 

Because Cody has to over come every setback… and don’t wanna make Seth look like a complete chump before losing tomorrow

 

I think tonight hit every thing you’d want for night 1

Even seeing Jey and Rey win was good for the middle of the card

it’s never gonna be an AEW PPV because AEW focuses on amazing in ring work and WWE is more about story

 

If Drew loses tomorrow he’s main eventing Wembley in 5 months

Missed the first match and a half but I have no complaints about tonight. Could have done without the Uso bowl but at least the result was the right one

 

I really wanted like five minutes of Cody belting the rock and reigns. Instead Cody got hit with it once and that was it lol.

 

So many titles changing hands tonight makes me think Iyo retains along with Logan Paul

It’s playing into Rock eventually turning on Roman

 

I can think of a couple; the big one being a Cody v Rock match at a major PPV. He did what Roman couldnt.

Cant have Seth take the L on back to back nights. Dont really want to 50/50 book Roman/Cody finishes. It was kind of the only obvious ending, especially with it clearly being Cody was done and the Rock picked at the remaining pieces.

 

Seeing some people say were probably going to get a Sami/Gable IC title feud now. That would be sick as hell.

 

Compared to last year’s night one, this one was disappointing.

Gunther/Sami was excellent, but everything else felt like it could have been on Smackdown.

 

I thought that was easily the best night of Mania since they went to two shows overall

Only one clunker in the Usos for me and everything else went exactly the way I wanted it to.

 

Ya upset I missed lynch Ripley but overall it was a good night. I'm gonna go watch Zayn Gunther highlights now.

Eh last years night 1 had the better more euphoric main event but can you remember any other match from night 1 last year
