Which ones are size S?

 

The two lighter-colored A&B ones are size S, the rest are size M, except for the classic heather brown Anberlin logo one, which I have in both small and medium.

Can anyone help me find out which Anberlin song sounds like this?:



My first thought is Harbinger but it also sounds like some of the new EP’s. Can’t put my finger on it, but this song came on my Apple Music and immediately stuck out as something similar to Anberlin ish.

 

Also I know we are now perhaps through the whole who could have been a better substitute of Stephen during the live shows, but my first guess would have been Philip "Moon Valjean" Sneed from Greek Fire. He has the range for the soft and 'aggressive' parts as well. They even had a cool feature with Stephen on one of their cover songs ("I'm Afraid of Americans").

 

That would've been great, they go way back. Heck, the guy even sang a little on NTFP ("The Runaways").

Saw them last night. Easily best show I've seen from the three Anberlin gigs I've been to. Amazing energy, Stephen sounded great. Shame they played a shorter set than previous occasions, would've loved a bit more off New Surrender.

Hawthorne Heights supported...jesus christ, they sound fine live, but the 'emo is not a phase' speeches were so long they could not only have easily performed another two songs instead, but they were delivered without a hint of irony or self-awareness. Soooooooooo cringe.

 

I love HH’s energy and commitment but yea when I saw them open for armor for sleep I thought the speeches were the corniest and more overlong things I’ve ever heard at a show.

I missed them at the Perth show unfortunately :(

 

Cities came out 17 years ago today.

 

Still remember going to Best Buy and picking up the deluxe edition with the black/grayish blue alt artwork for like, $7.99.

 

I'm surprised we haven't gotten a proper release of the two new songs yet. I did see that they were recording new music videos a couple weeks back, but that should all be wrapped up by now and ready to push GO.

 

They're waiting to roll them out in conjunction with Stephen's comeback tour.

I assume they’re still working on the album or something, but for a band to hire a touring singer to then not announce any actual tours is weird.

 

Yeah, I assume they're still trying to figure out how to make this all work. But booking shows would be a decent first step lol

 

i thought there was live footage with them and matty already??

 

He sang a few songs at Stephen’s final North American shows for sure last year. Not sure if he went with them to Australia.
