Out of the classic DC “Trinity,” Bruce feels easily the whitest and most formed by that privilege to me. But also, Winston Duke fucking rules, and we’ve had a billion Batmen, so with the right take, idk why not?

Though… I also don’t wish the role of “Andy Muschetti’s Batman” on any actor I like, lol.

 

hah I just watched all five seasons of the DC Superhero Girls shorts, cute. not sure I wanna watch the new ones, I don't like the redesign, but the movie with Teen Titans Go! was fun enough

 

There are more lines on this thing than I’d like (not New 52 influence! lol). But, zooming in on the crotch, that seems to be red, so that’s a huge win imo.

I know this is just one photo, and I’m sure I’ll love it when it’s in action, and I know one photo of him sitting down isn’t enough to judge in it’s entirety, but my first reaction was that this looks like cosplay.

I still have faith in James Gunn and have high hopes for the movie itself, I just don’t think this is a great first look.

 

I dunno about "cosplay" unless retail costumes have significantly improved in the last few years, but I do think it's interesting that the suit looks dirty. Not battle damaged like I think they're going for, but just that he needs to throw it in the wash.
