Yeah, this feels something like a return to form.

I mean I legit had bottom of the floor expectations or excitement for it, and thought the song was certainly much better than those expectations.

It isn't on the same tier as WP, RFTS, MN and I would never expect that. But in comparison to Coming Home, I like this more than like 95% of that album

    Cover art looks oddly familiar…

Song is great. The music is more complex which is very welcome and Christian is one hell of a drummer; he reminds me of Tyler style wise which is a huge compliment.

Yeah I’m surprised that people are considering this a return to form

Im surprised at the reaction too. This is a snooze and would be a mid tier track on Coming Home

It's the bridge/outro that makes this song for me. Everything from the last album/EP felt like he wrote a verse & chorus and considered the song done. Here it feels more fleshed out.

Not huge on this song on first listen, but I'm hoping this album is good!

Return to form, at least to me, would be Reach for the Sun, War Paint, Mother Nature.

This doesn’t do that for me at all.

Yeah this is fine but it’s just not as good as anything on these albums. Wouldn’t touch half of golden record either tbh.

Is this the most in your face bass playing ever from A.J? On Mother Nature you can barely hear the Bass

Yeah, the fuzzy rhythm is noticeably on the surface. I really appreciate the “ooooh, ooooh’s” in the background of the outro. It’s an excellent touch.

I didn't like it at first, but it's stuck in the head for sure.

Otherwise, I'm very excited for this album. I bought coming home to support the band and liked a few songs, but usually I like their entire albums (except golden record, don't come at me).

One things for sure. This one is getting the most replays for me of any of their songs since MN

Yeah I can’t speak for others but I’m not claiming this is their best work ever but it’s definitely the most I’ve enjoyed a song since MN which was a pleasant surprise to me.

Better than most of Coming Home. Could have done with just one instance of the La La La La fuck it. But it’s enjoyable
