I didn't mind Vogel, really. The problem was that Hibbert somehow became nonexistent, Lance left after causing tons of problems with the chemistry of the team. Part of that is the coaches fault I guess. PG getting hurt didn't make things easier. That said, Bird has bought into the idea that offense can win championships and I don't think Vogel could take the offense where it needed to go. He was also unable to get players to buy in to new roles on the team.

I mean technically the Hawks have always been a little gimmicky like that. Case in point: the Hawks invented the Kiss Cam.

What's a Pascal Siakam? This Toronto team announced they were going for record and home court advantage this summer, but I don't know if I see it beyond injuries. They are playing hard though.

I really want Kenny to win his first home game here, I've never rooted for a coach more

Kyrie is one of those players when he gets you in his office one on one, you're up to his mercy. It reminds me of Carmelo despite the style being different.

Not sure if the advance stats will bear it out, but Kyrie's defense looks good too. The effort and overall gives a shit level seems to be carrying over.

Really like what we are seeing from Love. He is playing more free than Cleveland is used to seeing. 18-10 in the third.

Vasquez still sucks. Somehow that one year in Nola made people think he wasn't an average backup. He got paid cheaply this time for a reason.

This is the early season sloppiness from both teams that we are used to seeing. Demar and LeBron came out swinging in game one. Tonight is a little rougher.

Speaking of Vasquez, apparently Russ really dislikes him. It was mentioned in an SI article. I would be curious to hear the backstory.

I really think they should play another big with turner so he could be freed up, McMillan should know that though. I dont think they have another legitimate starting big on the roster though.

Thank god that game is over for Cleveland. Second half was a slob fest with turnovers and letting them back in after every run.

So yea, the nets look way better but the pacers giving up this many points in back to back games isnt great. I'm ready to call McMillan the same coach he was a few years ago, meddling and conservative at every measure.

This season is going to be so frustrating to watch. Wish stupid-ass Donovan would give Morrow time.
