Tokyo Vice continues to fire on all cylinders

 

Apple TV's Palm Royale is getting some real bad initial reviews. Bummer that cast of Kristin Wiig, Allison Janney, Laura Dern, and Carol Burnett together sounded great.

 

Manhunt continues to be stellar

 

Finished The Gentlemen last night. Fun series overall.

Haven't watched yet but I'm sure they were great!

 

Ok Tokyo Vice had me on edge the entire time. Such a great season.

And Manhunt ....equal parts super eye opening and equally frustrating. Fuck Johnson. Had no idea about most of this, sheesh.

 

Watched the first two episodes of The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.

Don’t think we’ve ever had a thread but the Top Chef premiere was solid.

I was crying laughing when he was like “oh use all the leftover food this is my challenge” and then stumbling around the kitchen with no plan.

Everything, Everywhere, All at Once was fantastic! One of the best films I’ve seen in awhile. So damn funny.

An absolute blast and I watch it like once every few months. Just gives me all the feels.

 

I really didn’t know much about the movie going into it. I knew it was fantasy, but I thought it was more of a drama. This movie made me laugh more than most comedies I’ve seen lately.

 

I honestly did not enjoy that film at all. But I realize I’m an outlier.

 

Funny I actually just rewatched it earlier since it’s on Netflix

I was high watching it. It was a blast. I also remember very little from it as a result. I should probably watch it again.

 

Just watched Dream Scenario. Was super into it for most of the movie but really fell apart at the end
