I've been tempted to sell my tickets to make some money off of them because I went to the tour last year and the setlist and setup are basically the same, and the date I have tickets to is a 3 hour drive away...but if I don't go and the 8 ball song is something amazing I know i'll regret it

No GINASFS so I was super dejected, but then I lost my mind and blew my voice out at Pros and Cons. Can’t believe it happened and I saw it. Would have liked a more rare 8 Ball on top of that, but I can’t complain.

I was bummed about no GINASFS, but holy shit, Pros and Cons. I knew they hadn't played that one in a minute, but I didn't realize it was essentially one of the only live performances. Kinda hope it stays that way so we can say we say something super special haha. Agreed about the 8 ball song, but I guess we can't complain! What a fucking night, all of the bands absolutely hit. I'm still buzzing this morning, been a while since I've been this jacked up the day after. Couldn't sleep last night, was just so pumped. What a night!

Please keep Pros and Cons in place of Calm Before The Storm. Way better song.

I think the only 8 ball song I’d really be bummed about is Miss Missing You because that’s what we got in Tampa last year.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

how did they practice for all of these did they just say "hey feel like playing this tonight?" and practice? or did they literally re-learn every song in their discography again

They don’t remember how to play their deep cuts (thinking back of when a fan requested Tell That Mick at a show last year and Pete said they didn’t know how to play it despite them obviously performing it many times before) so I’m sure they had to relearn all of them.

Right but did they go into this tour relearning their entire discography? Or do they do it as they go along and they’re like “let play X today”

My guess is that they probably just learn/rehearse the day of the show.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

Probably went in learning an extra 5-10 to start the tour with. Probably pitched ideas at soundcheck and then everyone did what they needed to do and came back a few days later to practice the full song as a band

Just saw them tonight. Man, when this band locks into what they're really good at, there's very few in this genre better. I think the setlist that I got on the first leg was a little better (a little bummed we got a post-hiatus song as the 8-ball song, although if it had to be one I'm glad it was Miss Missing You), but they sound better and better every single time. Patrick is a true force of nature

This was my first time seeing JEW too and they killed it

Oh, cool! I no longer fear getting MMY then for my show next week. Nice!

    Things have changed.

Pete's "magic trick" is fun when you notice all the individual things that have to happen for him to pull it off.

The fact that there is no full video of Pros and Cons from Tuesday on YouTube yet is upsetting.

If they play it next week in Pittsburgh I will film it. But it seems unlikely.

Really hope our "special" part of the set tonight is NOT another guest spot of Travis from Gym Class Heroes.

God damn New York. You got XO, the Spidey theme song, Tell That Mick, Slow Down with Beckett, and I think the second full performance of Get Busy Living ever.

Ok so I get to add NYC to the list of cities I will forever despise for getting to experience XO being played live.
