Like A Dragon: IW is so damn great. Love that I can just walk around and yell hi at random strangers.

 

The Legends 3 comment was a joke, but for real, the Mega Man franchise as a whole has sold over 40 million copies and the Legends 3 fiasco is well documented.

We absolutely don't need to give large corporations a pass on having treated a franchise's creator and fanbase like garbage just because we happen to like their other games.

 

Staring at your Steam download speed/progress is actual torture

It looks like the last capcom game I even played was dead rising stuff

 

picking up pillars of eternity 2 since I need something to play at my desk that is also best experienced by sitting and playing it on my desktop

 

I did a wheel spin to pick my next game since I've finished Infinite Wealth and am nearing the end of RE4.

The wheel landed on Elden Ring, wish me luck and thanks to Morgan who I believe sent me her copy eons ago lol

 

given initial reports the thing you should be looking at more closely is your CPU.
Even the beefiest of rigs fluctuate wildly and struggle in even moderately populated areas. At this point, unless you are desperate for it, your best bet is waiting until Capcom makes significant strides in terms of CPU usage.

I mean look at Dragon's Dogma 2 objectively. Is this really a game that should struggle to hit 30fps on a PS5? I don't think so.

 

DD2 has been running good for me so far consistent 60-70 FPS at 1440, chugs down to 30-40 FPS in towns which hasnt been too bad.


The game is absolutely god damn incredible though. Fuck.

 

Yes I've seen a lot of people saying CPU is the big factor

 

Played DD2 a couple hours. Not even made it to the first town yet. Just wondering the woods figuring things out.
Not sure I like the reduced health from hits being permanent until you rest. Also, if I don’t want to wonder around at night, is my only option to stay at an inn for gold or just a campsite? Is camping gear expensive/rare to find for free in the wild?
