I love Mono No Aware but that is a fall song. Tsk tsk. Surprised that they chose that song over Bloom which has a spring like title

 

My alternate was going to be something from Runners in the Nerved World (The Sidekicks), that's my go-to Spring album

the only song I like by the Sidekicks, Jesus Christ Supermalls, was one of my considerations!

 

Some realllly good picks here, and not big obvious ones either, looking forward to hearing the ones I don't know

 

I picked Soft Animal for fall in Season 1! And while it did well, a few of y'all pointed out that it was more of a 'spring' song for them.

For the supergroup do they have to have a band name or does artist name & artist name also count as a supergroup if they have an album out?

 

I think that's always up to interpretation, but in my opinion you're describing a collab album and not a supergroup

Nah, both of the ones I thought of only have one album out

Just kidding, I actually think we should be pretty liberal about the definition of a supergroup, as long as the artists involved have released at least one full length album (and maybe been on tour?)

I haven’t heard this Format song in years and it’s bringing back so many feelings.

 

Can we all preemptively agree that Temple of the Dog was NOT a supergroup since none of them were actually well known when they made that album?

 

Just noticed votes are due Saturday. I like this schedule more than last season’s! The small break between rounds where everyone can kinda talk about their picks completely free from outing themselves is fun.
