Okay steam sale I got Ys IX and Resident Evil 4 Remake, friend of mine gave me a Nioh 2 key. I own these all on PS5 but I can't play on no fuckin console anymore cmon now

Infinite Wealth is done after 61 hours, GREAT GAME!!!

 

I just gotta say whenever a game gives me the ability to attack a enemy to gain like 1% health back that’s my favorite ability forever

Same. Any ability that gives me health for attacking is a must use

 

Was able to easily sell my 4060 for $200 which I more than happy with, I always use OfferUp and the people come right to me, it's so easy.

I only sell to people who have active profiles with previous purchases though.

 

Other gaming updates

Finally played beyond the first day in Dave The Diver, neat little game and I've reached 18 wins in Balatro, got my first Black Stake deck win pretty quickly, that's notably easier than Red and Green.

Now that I've beat Infinite Wealth I'm gonna try to wrap up RE4 pretty soon. Then I might do a randomizer to decide my next games; Neon White, TLOUII, Persona 5 Royal/P3R, FF7R, God of War Ragnarok, and Elden Ring are all in the queue as games I already own/have access to, and I REALLY wanna try Unicorn Overlord too. Games are good eating right now.

 

I replayed Black Book in Russian voice acting with zero sin and now I'm at the final chapter almost to where I left off on my first, 500+ sin, playthrough. So I haven't seen either ending yet, but I do think it's a bit more fun to roleplay giving no fucks and just cursing everyone. and also you have access to more money via the demons you send off to cause mischief, as well as to more powerful cards that boost your sin just by playing them. But I'm sure the good ending will be narratively more rewarding in the, uh, end.

Also I've been doing some pretty fun shenanigans with the cards, pulling off a combo that eventually got me four million shield each turn by the time the match ended lolol

 

About 7 hours into Sticky Business with 24/29 base achievements. I was up to 3 AM last night designing cute ass stickers. The stories have been endearing with mostly queer characters. I love it.

 

started playing ratchet and clank rift apart because I am a true Stan for insomniac game

first level was fun as heck they always knock it out on first levels

 

The dead space remake is so good! Incredible graphics / lighting / sound. 2 is one of my all time favorites so i hope that gets the same treatment.

^ also ratchet and clank is really fun. Havent finished but loved what i touched.

 

It's really the first time HDR has felt like it's paid off in a game, the lighting is unreal

 

I’ll be done with final fantasy rebirth soonish I’m almost to chapter 10 but I can see myself taking my time toward the end to extend my time with the game because I adore it so much.

I’ve hit something of a wall in chapter 3 of tactics ogre but I’ll eventually get over it as I’ve done every time I’ve hit a wall up to this point; which is often because this game is truly tough as nails especially if you refuse to perma lose any team members like I do unless im just tired of trying which has happened once or twice. I’m in a big strategy mood now I might replay three houses after this or finish shadow dragon. The emulation of ff tactics I have is fine if a little idk wonky I guess. I almost feel like I should wait if it’s really getting a remaster soon.


I started uncharted 2 sort of as a goof the other night but I may as well just play all of it lol it’s fun. games from this era that tried to be movies before the graphics could really back it up are a hoot though. I have a sizeable ps3 physical collection and haven’t played a good deal of them so I may go there for a game next. Far cry 2 could be fun or dmc 4. Or the first three god of wars

 

I can't speak to it now, but by God Uncharted 2 looked unreal when it came out

 

Uncharted 2 is the perfect linear roller coaster. Impeccable pacing and set pieces. Nothing ever came close.

Everyone is still chasing that high imo

 

truly remembered uncharted 2 made me feel like an Indiana jones movie in the best way

 

Id argue uncharted 3 is every bit as good as 2. Some of the plot detours are a bit too disconnected and random, but it took what UC2 did with set pieces and built on them well.

The only thing that doesnt hold up are the facial animations and AI (to a certain degree, AI is still pretty good, but Nathan especially looks pretty off in some cut scenes that it was often distracting).

Uc4 definitely has some pacing issues, but it arguably holds its own visually compared to modern games. Uc2 / 3 are good, but they look dated (despite being class leaders at their time).

 

The only game that came close for me was Rise of the Tomb Raider

 

4 is pretty close imo but I haven’t finished 2 yet but I really loved 4 might be the best ps4 era linear game

 

2>4>3>1 as far as Uncharted goes. 2 is just an insane time start to finish.

 

I had to watch a recap video on UC3 when 4 came out because I forgot what happened in it.

 

Finished Black Book, there are actually four endings, and I thiiink only two are actually dependent on how much sin you've accumulated.

!!!ending spoilers!!!
1: throw away the Black Book... mayhaps be reunited with your betrothed after all? (good ending)
2: marry Satan, rule hell together
3: kill Satan, rule hell alone (evil ending)
4: kill Satan, "escape" hell, becoming another seal in the Black Book so another witch will find it and continue the cycle

but yeah, all in all, great story and great card battling! pretty artwork and music. highly recommend

 

UC3 has too many bullet sponge enemies. It grew tiring dealing with waves of them.
