NES was my first too, followed by the Genesis. I never had a SNES growing up, always wished I did

 

I had NES at my house and there was a SNES at my grandma's house and then I got a Sega Genesis Nomad

 

I didn't "own" a console until the Gameboy but my neighbors had a NES that I'd always play and my cousin has an Atari.....I forget which one but I remember the ET game.

 

I actually won my NES, and quite a few consoles I've owned, I bought off other people.

My favorite story though is how my mom bought me a GBA and literally later that week a near-perfect emulator dropped and I never bought another game for it. Sorry Mom.

 

My parents had a SNES when I was born but I don’t remember playing anything until the ps1 and n64 days

 

My first console was an NES that belonged to my uncle I think. First new console was then Sega Genesis

 

Most of what I remember playing was on the Genesis. Vectorman, Sonic, The Lion King (RIP), etc

All I remember vividly playing on NES was Duck Hunt

 

I had a big brother so he had nintendo and SNES, he is the one that got me into Final Fantasy.

 

my brother and i grew up with NES, SNES, N64, and PS1, and they're all in my living room just kinda sitting there, and since I'm a PC gamer those are the only consoles I ever had. I never even had a handheld, but I'd like to think if the price is ever low enough I'd get a Backbone, tho it would be pretty superfluous since I already have a pretty decent gaming laptop, and I hardly go anywhere with it anyway

Currently I only own the last four.

 

My parents bought me a SNES at the end of the life cycle. I was probably around five at that point? So the games were fairly cheap for it, so they bought me some every so often. My mom also worked at a department store and had a discount.

First two games were Yoshi's Island and Doom. Two drastically different games.

 

Genesis for me (Master System over here). Managed to dig it out a couple of years ago, along with a bunch of games, but haven't managed to get it working sadly.

huh, there's nothing on sale I really want that's high on my priority list. I mean, Jedi Survivor and REm4ke would be nice but I can wait. that being said, I'll probably be paying full price for HFW and TLOU2 as soon as those are available

but just to reiterate, I'm really loving Black Book right now, in case anyone's looking for a good deckbuilder on sale

 

I was a military brat living overseas most of my life, and over there theybwere the masters of bootleg stuff and nodding consoles......I remember I had a gameboy cart that had over a hundred games like all the Disney games like lion king, and Marios and gremlins and then games like tank and pong. Then when I got my first PlayStation they modded it to play burnt discs.
