Fucking shit the weezer tour is during when I'm at aftershock

 

They’re playing a stupid festival in San Diego instead, doubt they’re doing the blue album there :( I guess I’ll go to LA

 

I don’t understand why they would do this to me. Weezer gives their toughest battles to their strongest warriors.

Someone explain the P!nk tour demand to me like I’m 5. My wife (who never asks to go to concerts) wants to see P!nk for her birthday. I said no problem. Because of all the shows/festivals I go to & having been on this site for so long, I really thought I had a good understanding of what I was agreeing to. I thought surely it’d be a summer tour at our local 25k cap amphitheater where we can get lawn tickets and then very easily sneak into the pit.

tell me why this artist I haven’t thought about in years & her tour I didn’t hear about at all is in our NFL stadium, selling pretty well, and the the cheapest nosebleed tickets are over $100??

did I miss something? Is there a P!nk resurgence? Is this her first tour in a decade? Someone make it make sense

But yeah she's just someone with a lot of hits who's on the radio constantly plus I think she delivers a show, not seeing her with those prices

 

my 49 year old aunt is seeing her. she’s basically a legacy act at this point. she has like 10+ songs playing on my work radio station lol

 

there are a whole lot of people outside of the demos you encapsulate, and those people like different things than you, haha

but also, think of when she came out in the very early 2000's and out of all of her pop peers from that era (Brittney, christina, ect..), and even the group after her (katy perry, lady gaga) she pretty much the only one who has consistently stayed touring year after year and puttin out albums very consistently.

 

The support for that tour is fucking stacked too, I'm just as excited to see The Script & Sheryl Crow for the first time as I am P!nk

 

Yeah, though Bridgeport is cutting it in terms of NYC area (and I say this as someone who grew up in Fairfield county). There's a 2 day gap before that so I'm still betting they add a NY/NJ date.

 

she has been selling out arenas for years then last year made the jump to stadiums. She puts on a prolific stage show thats part cirque de soleil part concert. Lots of theater to it.
