I will say this album provides plenty of “let’s slow it down for a few songs” songs for the live set haha

Man, when that beat kicks in in "Ordinary Heaven"

I just get to be there
    I just get to witness

I want to live in that moment.

And the Rodney Mullen part totally works.

These days of our lives, they're rough and they're fast and unfair
And held together by a paper clasp
And they're drenched in a moment past
And they're only known when somebody is gone
Well, the years move fast, but the dread goes hard

    That part got me, man.

  4. I think it helped that my first listen was last night, right after coming home from the gym, taking a shower, and preparing things for the next morning. Making some coffee, getting things ready, winding down the evening, and that being a perfect time for an album like this, but I really think I love this.

  6. "We Are Going To Know Each Other Forever" is spectacular. This is the part that got me on my second listen.

Does anyone leave their hometown and actually survive?
I mean does anyone leave their hometown and actually hold the line?
Too dumb to realize how much you meant to this place

Love this on first impressions. “A tiny twist of faith will come and shake you” is really hitting me right now

I saw Clairo credited with bg vocals on Apple Music, but just noticed Lana is also listed.

Never gotten into a full bleachers album in the past but this is off to a very promising start.

Wow was really expecting to see Matt berningers name in the credits for track 7 lol. that’s straight up a great national song.

This record rules. Listened to it on the walk to the coffee shop, and while I read at the coffee shop.

I was nervous after seeing the reactions from the listening parties, but this is fantastic and I honestly think his most consistent and cohesive album yet. Sure, it might not compare to the highest highs on the other albums, but it avoids a lot of the misfires I think every album had.

I mean, if I’m in the mood to listen to Bleachers, this won’t be the first or second album I put on. But I see why people are enjoying it. He obviously went for a mellow chill sound and succeeded at that.

Yeah this is great. I guess I could see wanting another upbeat song on here but Jack was clearly going for a specific mood here and I think he nailed it. Definitely I will find myself getting lost in while going for walks or doing work or just relaxing at night. Lots of beautiful stuff here.

Yeah this absolutely rules. Second favorite of the year behind friko. It’s definitely a vibes record which makes sense why so many of you with bad vibes aren’t digging it.
