The whole show is that fucked up and creepy, my nephew used to watch it

 

Ain’t no fuckin way this person put a TW on the end credits for a kids show lol

 

I saw Dune 2 last night and we had one trailer for Love Lies Bleeding…very cool

 

Not really sure where else to post this but since they are part of WGA thought it would work here. This is fucked up. Glad the Ringer Union is sticking to their guns on this.

 

I finished Game of Thrones. All the various failures of the last season or so have been well documented, but I wonder to what extent it would have ever ended successfully. There are just so many characters and in a show about warfare there is a fairly limited number of ways to close out those stories. The Jamie ending is still baffling, though.

 

It just doesn’t seem like a show that I will ever want to watch. Peer pressure had us do the first season before the final season, so i hope that the bad ending stops all convo

 

You absolutely should watch s1-4 it’s a very fun show for that period.

 

I watched it all after it aired and yeah seasons 1-3 and maybe 4 are good but I can’t recommend anyone spend their time on it.

 

Theres no way to for show runners to write a statisfying ending for that story on a TV production time line. The discourse was so hateful, that dnd were bad writers and GRRM was too lazy to finish the books, completely ignorant of the effect process has on form.
If you rush the ending thats what you get, and yet the fan base continued to attack GRRM to finish it faster, exclaiming hes old, fat and will die.

Fucking around for 10years lets wierd ideas float in sit around, digest and float out. It gets critical, it gets messy, it gets over critical and it produces something that cant be replicated in a writers room.

 

It is a good show, not a great one. I would compare it to HBO's Rome, which was as sleazy and ridiculous and had the same rushed ending, just less popular.

 

What was the best film dog on 2023? The border collie guide dog from Anatomy of a Fall? The black lab that is symbolism for the lurking banality of evil in The Zone of Interest?

 

Anatomy of a fall dog is a better actor than most humans honestly.

Took fucking long enough if you ask me. I was extremely burnt out by the time marvel phase 2 started lol

 

Same here. I'm completely burned out on Marvel. I made it all the way through Phase 3 that wrapped up the Infinity Saga, and then the mediocre films and shows started. Don't get me wrong, there's some good stuff in there, but soooooo much of it sucked. I haven't watched a lot of it. I'm mixed on Phase 5, and i'm holding out hope that Fantastic Four starting off Phase 6 is a reset. They need it.

 

After watching Anatomy of a Fall, give us some new well written adult courtroom dramas in American cinema please
