Player's Log: Trails Into Reverie.

So I've been playing this. I finished the prologue earlier in the week, took a bit of a break yesterday, and today I'm in the thick of Lloyd's Act I.

I like the idea that I can switch over to Rean now if I want, and there will apparently be points where I'll be forced to switch between protags, but for now I'm just happy being Lloyd and the SSS again. Noel! Wazy! Rixia! We're so back.

 

Rebirth is as good as I was expecting so far

 

Playing in graphics mode on Rebirth. Probably the first time I’ve done this since Forbidden West launched. It’s holding up pretty good.

 

I am really liking Pacific Drive but some of the things that are left unexplained are a little irritating. I'm nearly seven hours in and I still don't fully understand the route planning mechanism. Why do you choose your destination on two separate maps? I tried looking it up and can only find conflicting answers (some say the node you choose on the ARC device is just an additional stop and that you still have to travel to the node you chose in the router planner, and others suggest that's not accurate and that the route planner is JUST to see what threats might exist.) I've just been choosing the same destination on both to avoid unexpected chaos.

I always dread looking at this thread and twitter now in case of more layoffs.

So when I see people talking about playing games, it makes me feel a little more at peace.

Really enjoyed the showcase and am excited for No Rest for the wicked. Haven't played ori (I bought it for PC but never played it). It's nice this one is coming to the PS5.

 

I mean some of you clearly like THOSE types of games

 

Infinite Wealth is very much getting deserved hype but I feel like the soundtrack deserves more credit, it's so fun and good
