They did that like two years ago, it’s not happening again and ATL is on the Avril tour. TSSF is most likely opening for ADTR.

The Sad Summer dates include Pittsburgh so we can eliminate most of the Four Chord bands unless they are playing specific dates on the tour

 

I suspect we the kings is on sad summer. When they played Chicago last month they said they would be back. But didn’t say when or what they where on

I got pj tickets as well $141 after fees.

 

Hopeless Records commented on the Sad Summer post. Could see some variation of Pinkshift, Sweet Pill, Trophy Eyes being on there as far as first timers go.

 

Happy to see they're not skipping NYC like they did last year. BUT I really hope it's not back at Pier 17. A 3,500 cap venue is too small for this tour, especially in a major city.

 

Sad Summer would be cooler if it was more than 17 shows. They don’t hit a lot of markets and it sucks that certain parts of the country miss out.

I think it's a matter of finding feasible venues that could host the tour, especially in a weekday where it's hard to justify an all day fest where the target audience is ~25 year olds, and not 17 year olds like warped was. Would make sense for them to do official side shows though like they did a previous year. Using the marketing muscle of the big tour to help those out. Could have 2 tour packages that criss cross each other.

Where else could it be? Forest hills? I think the tour and the bands love the photos and videos from pier 17 though. And an early sell out on the poster helps move tickets anyway

 

According to the artist page there’s 11 bands on sad summer. Pretty sure some of those will only be specific dates Tho
