Suggesting altering the tracklist of this album is blasphemy

There was an initial shock when I played this album of how good it was. Now with a few weeks of plays it is settling in even stronger. So many moments I look forward to as I play through and 0 skippers. I am going to try to catch a show on this album run.

Meet Me feels like it would fit right at home on Is This Thing Cursed?

Still in awe that we're getting albums as good as this and ITTC? this far into their career. I know A&I, TA, and MSIT have their defenders, and I think there's great songs on each of those albums, but these last two are such a huge step back up to their previous level of awesome. I can only imagine their first album with Atom will be insanely good too.

I cannot wait to see Atom crush these tunes in this tour. Derek has always been great but his parts on BHAE are absolutely killer.

I also really hope we get an AK3 record with Atom recording drums. Feel like the energy and feel on an album with him as a writing and recording member will be top-notch.

The 4 song run of Bad Time through the title track is so good it’s almost criminal.

    Are You Watching Closely?

Any guesses/leaks on setlists for this tour? My show is Austin and we're like night 4 or 5

I'd really love Hot For Preacher and Teenage Heart to bookend the main set. They do that on the album SO well.

I hope they shake it up with the non-BH&E songs, their standard sets have been a little safe and samey lately.

That is so much better than the recent setlists. Hope they change it up a little bit each night too.

This has big "rotating setlists" energy, there's some curveballs on there that I can't imagine are the only songs off of their albums

I can't remember what order I put them in a couple weeks ago when I ranked, but my I guess hot take is that MSIT >>> ITTC, the more I thought about it. The highs on MSIT are just really damn good.

And A&I is a top 2-3 trio album for me so haha

As someone who’s only really gotten into them with the last 3 records (+ crimson), i unfortunately don’t recognize or like a large swath of the set list. I’m glad they don’t feel the need to pull heavy from the big nostalgia album (well, I figured that would be crimson, perhaps not) + recent singles, lord knows I complain when every band I like does that, but makes me feel a bit better that this doesn’t come too close to me.
