I have a scotty that I love and will never part with - but almost a year ago I picked up a Lab Link and really love it. Thinking of getting their new DF3 as well. I love the Scotty more because of the look and overall feel - but I putt way better with the Lab. Their tech is hard to deny.

 

This is where I am. I was fit into a Lab spaceship at Club Champion two years ago and legit chickened out at the checkout line because I just couldn’t stand the look. The Link is just a center shafted Anser, so that’s easier to swallow. I’ll give it a try before the season starts.

 

Same. I was fit into the DF 2.1 at Club Champion and in the fitting I made 9/10 putts from 10 feet. It was insane but I just couldn't get over the look despite how automatic it felt so I ended up getting the Link. It looks and feels great but it's definitely their least forgiving putter even though it still is far more forgiving than my scotty. However the new look of the DF3 has me on the edge of pulling the trigger. I'll probably end up doing it at some point this year.

Something they don't really advertise on their site that I was able to take advantage of is their trade-in program. I had acquired a variety of clubs that I was able to trade-in for over $300 credit which made the high price tag much more manageable.

 

Lets goooooo how awesome would this be lol

 

With 35 tournaments on the schedule, this season promises to be one of the most exciting ever.

Season 2 of Full Swing out now, just finished Ep2, lot of the merger stuff talked about in the first 2 eps. Folks are not gonna respond favorably to paulina gretzky's screen time lol

 

I just started it this morning. Loved the first episode. Gonna try and take my time with this season because last year I think I watched in 2 days lol

 

Scottie figured out the putter and he’s back to being Tiger 2.0. He’s a mad man.

 

The Dahmen/Clark episode was beautiful. That was really great storytelling.

 

Scottie with a beard is somehow infinitely more interesting to me. No idea why.

If he can continue to ballstrike like this and have just average putting weeks, he could sweep the majors.

 

The Full Swing episodes about the Ryder Cup leave a bad taste in my mouth.

 

I still have those two to go but tbh i kinda felt that way about the lead up episode with zach and JT haha

 

ZJ has supplanted Hal Sutton as the worst RC captain of all time. Poor instincts, bad vibes and an absolute beatdown with a team that seemed historically primed.

 

I felt bad for Keegan to begin with but these episodes just drove the nail in deeper.

 

Dahmen’s caddie is a beauty.

I’ll pay whatever to be there lol it’s gonna be amazing.

 

I registered for ticket information, theres almost no price i wont pay to be there all weekend considering i can sleep in my own bed every night and not need to pay travel lol

 

I’d probably get a hotel because I don’t want to deal with traffic from Staten Island to Long Island.

 

Having been to a PGA Championship (2009, Tiger’s first loss) and a Ryder Cup (2016, USA beatdown) at Hazeltine, the Ryder Cup is a wholly unique beast. The same amount of people watching four holes (at most) at once, all pulling for the same dudes. The Rory/Reed match on Sunday was a true earthquake/levitating moment. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the sag and explosion of the crowd when they traded long birdies on 8. It felt like the roof was gonna cave in. And that was with a bunch of reasonably polite midwesterners dominating the crowd. Bethpage will be fucking THUNDERDOME.

 

Sunday at the Player's is shaping up to be something good. I just want Theegala to catch some fire and be in contention at the end as well.

 

If this new putter is the final key for scottie - watch out. He'll win at least 1 major. at least.

Bought Scottie’s Spider today on a whim after finding a mega deal on FB Marketplace. Dude was asking $50 for this. Didn’t know what he had, or didn’t care.

 

There are a few words to describe truly what Scottie has done the last two years. What a beast.
