When are we getting an actual Goldfinger tour and not just the same five A-Markets they'll randomly play every year?

 

Goldfinger and The Offspring should do a club tour together. I feel like both of them have been dodging a legitimate tour for years and years.

 

The Offspring did a headlining tour last summer with Sum 41 opening

 

A better match would be The Offspring/Rise Against doing a co-headliner.

 

I remember back in my day there used to only be like one pre sale and now I look at the event page and I see 20 different pre sales and I can’t tell which is which

 

Doubt this actually happens. Feldy’s main priority is producing now, so Goldfinger is practically a side gig

 

The one pre-sale I feel is under-utilized is the Citi card presale. They seem to get first dibs in a lot of venues and I've gotten GA Pit via Citi for shows that then instantly went to platinum pricing.

 

it's because they trick you into buying a credit card by offering presales haha

 

I just saw the actual prices for the peso pluma show and never mind I think just seeing him at Coachella might be the move

 

Trying to get that Bunny money. It’ll be interesting to see how that tour sells in arenas in some of the b-markets.

It is when your market gets skipped over for not having a decent venue that’s between 2500-6000 capacity and misses out on LN sponsored tours lol

 

Those 2500-6000 capacity venues are definitely few and far between for smaller cities.

 

Portland isn’t that small. LN is also planning on building a 4000 cap room here that’ll open within the next few years. Portland is one of the few bigger markets they don’t have much of a presence in, but they are working hard to change that. I hope they don’t go after the existing clubs that are 1-2 cap rooms, but I doubt that won’t happen.

 

We just got a brand new 8,000 seat venue on the Lake Erie right outside downtown that's really beautiful. They built a bike park with a bunch of trails that wraps around the venue. The venue itself is a converted old factory where they kept the frame and will illuminate it at night.

Chappelle Roan, Primus/Coheed, and some jam band type acts are scheduled so far this summer.

my local arena has them posted on their website so idk if it’s the same for everyone

 

since I’m going to see him at Coachella I think P8 is probably the most I would spend since I imagine with fees it would hit $200

very interested to see what this production looks like. never seen a center stage that has GA, seats, and risers all on the floor.
