This isn't really emo, but I didn't know where else to put it. This is a collab album from members of The Six Parts Seven and a singer/songwriter project Goodmorning Valentine.

It's really beautiful, like a mix of slowcore and singer/songwriter vibes. RIYL: (a more stripped-down, southern gothic) Owen, Red House Painters, Cassino.

 

Country type vibe but this fits here

 

Not sure I'm hearing any country in this at all. Good stuff though. Hearing heavy into it. over it. influence.

Edit - after listening to the whole album, you could have told me this was an IIOI album and I wouldn't question it one bit.

 

I'm such a dope. I was listening to this and thinking "Wow, this kind of sounds like the Dismemberment Plan, and was getting ready to post that amazing analysis here when I heard "YOOOOU ARE INVITED" lol.

I am high though.

 

I read this as "acoustic bin laden." I was pleasantly surprised.

 

It’s funny you say that cause I had the opposite reaction—I felt like none of the singles had any country influence at all, and then when I heard the full album I was like yeah okay I hear it
