    I know it's not likely a 12" player can play 7" records but I'd think they're more likely able to play 10" records, no?

    Yeah for an album I’d rather have 2x12” than 4x10” for sure.

    The 10 inch move was likely a cost cutting feature sadly. Someone had a deal. This was such a polarizing album when it came out but it really has some fantastic songs

    It does come with 9 demos and an EP as well. That might explain the 4x10” choice.
