I was kind of thinking they'd be releasing their new album at some point this year, with a fall/winter headlining tour - but them announcing *one* fall show in February makes me kind of think they won't be doing much at all this year.

 

My fingers are crossed for a June 22, 2024 release!

It’s a new venue flexing their calendar. I’m sure ManOrch is touring around them the venue is just trying to get publicity before they open

 

Agree with this...other artists playing this venue did the same thing...announced their Brooklyn date and then announced the rest of their tour soon thereafter....I feel like a summer album is coming

Pandemic/post-pandemic time is weird for me, so realizing MMOG is about to be 3 years old is...strange.

 

I have a flashbulb memory of driving an hour to get my first Covid vaccine and I listened to BedHead and Keel Timing that had just been released on the way home. I felt so relieved so those songs are ingrained in my head

they’ll be playing a somewhat secret show in atlanta on march 19th filled with all new material so they can contextualize the songs in a live setting as a part of the writing process

says they may even actively discuss things on stage and take all their notes and feedback to make adjustments to the music as they see fit before finalizing things in the studio
