I create content for some of your favorite artists

I feel like I'd like to hear the vocals a little more but other than that I dont have a problem with how it sounds.

Scars is easily my favorite song on here- feels like a classic trio song. Bad Time is another one that grew on me after the album released. Real happy with this album- have to snag the vinyl soon!

Surprisingly my first AT album. Loving this thing. Best record to experience next?

To confuse things even more, I’ll always say From Here To Infirmary.

I mean Imfirmary, Good Mourning and Crimson is as good a three album run as a band could have. If you love this, all three of those are must listen immediately

I would extend it to Agony & Irony even though I know many others wouldn't. That 4 album run is *chefs kiss*

My vote for next one you should listen to is Good Mourning, but any one of those 4 will give you a good listen. From Here to Infirmary if you want some catchy but macabre pop-punk. Good Mourning if you're looking for the same but with more straight alt-rock influences and better (IMO) song writing and lyrics. Crimson if you want a taste of that "glam-goth" pop punk and emo that had arisen in 2005, and Agony & Irony if you're looking for more straight rock/alt rock/pop rock.

I still remember when they debuted this live (wanna say it was at a big festival of some sort too, maybe Reading and Leeds or something) and the fandom was freaking out about a new song and not too long after that a live video surfaced from the show. Sounded so awesome.

Edit: THis was also the song that was playing on The Hills when those folks went to see them recording the album right? lol

I like Agony a lot but Skiba's writing really shifted to a more straightforward style after old school Trio fans really hated on Crimson. I can't group Agony with those others but it does have it's own vibe that I love about it lol. I love that it feels like Skiba is back in kinda peak poetic mode now.

Agony & Irony is so good. That 3-album run of GM, Crimson, and A&I is top tier Trio for me, followed closely behind by the early stuff (which is well encapsulated on the self-titled comp), Goddamnit, and MICF.

Bums me out to read about the Facebook group that doesn’t like this album. How, as a “fan” of this band, you can’t find enjoyment in the sonic link between GM and Crimson is beyond me.

There just aren't any weak songs outside of Live Young, Die Fast on there for me. The melodies and hooks and lyrics are all just crushing it. My only other complaint is I had heard OVer and Out as a solo Derek singing/playing first and I loved that version so the album version was a little meh for me

Yeah Live Fast is really the only weakness. And I think Ruin It is one of their most underrated songs, if not the most. I NEVER see it mentioned and it's so good.

The best part about being a fan of Pop-Punk bands is when an album sounds more raw the pop people lose their minds and if it’s too polished the punk people lose theirs.

Hahaha yeah I understand that people think this sounds muddy or whatever, but those thinking it has been badly produced are just plain wrong. Everything *sounds* good. Sorry that Matt didn’t put power chords underneath the guitar break so it sounds like it will live.

Yeah I have a bad/untrained ear for these things but to me it mostly just sounds like they didn't layer 4 or 5 guitars everywhere? I'm fine with how it sounds. There are spots where I wish it went bigger but otherwise I'm really enjoying the sorta "throwback" sound it has

I sometimes wonder of it just got overshadowed by everything else Dan did on that album. In Vein was the first song we heard and had the bouncy chords that I think had not been something they'd put into a song yet at that point? I could be forgetting a song but I think that was a new sound for them. Do You Wanna Know? was added late by the label and for obvious reasons, catchy as hell. Love Love Kiss Kiss was super polarizaing as some people loved it and some people hated in. And then Ruin It was just there being a good kickass song without really spurring much discussion haha

Then of course the b-sides came out and had two MORE absolute Dan gems that, IMO, overshadowed everything else on the album besides Do You Wanna Know. I get album flow and story and all that, but how Burned Is the House is only a B-side and not on an album sonewhere, and how In My Stomach didn't get to close out the album, I'll never know.

I’ll be honest, Ruin It might be my least-listened to Trio song. I always forget about it, but I’ll give it a jam here in a bit.

They really killed it on all three music videos for this album so far. Would love to get one for Shake With Me too.

Agony definitely has some solid tracks but it's not the sound I'm looking for when I want to listen to Trio

I don't really feel the need to return to any tracks when I'm not listening front to back aside from Skeletons, In Vein and Do You Wanna Know. And Help Me is fine I guess.

Burned Is The House and Fire Down Below could have definitely replaced songs
