they also said that when their management called and asked if they wanted to do sad summer they said “hell no” because they weren’t into the whole emo nostalgia.

 

What convinced them to play it, then?

 

How about we don't bring back retreads of tours that happened in the past that clearly lasted long beyond what their life spans should've been as it is?

 

I’d assume $$$ and being told they were doing it or they realized at least looking at the lineup last year it wasn’t just a nostalgia fest.

knocked loose tour should be coming this week. stacked lineup. middle two bands are also playing SNW, and the hyped international hardcore opener isn't.

 

heard one is Gel, I was told months ago Kublai Khan was doing direct support for KL this year on their headliner, but others here have said they aren’t doing that tour anymore.

 

Totally agree, I loved the lineup. But I def get that I'm probably not their target audience. Philly was in the same location it's been previously (Skyline Stage at The Mann ), amphitheaters were crazy ambitious

I really hope they continue with their ...Is For Lovers fests, those lineups have been absolute home runs

 

Very curious as to which of the bands on SNW fit the KL tour. Gel would make sense as one of them for sure, curious who the 2nd is and even more curious to which hyped international band is on there.

 

Speed? Chisel? Those are like two of the more hyped hxc bands at the moment?

Only other band that really fits that description is Kruelty but Speed definitely makes more sense

 

Any knowledge of if it’s hitting Tied Down in Detroit? I kinda expected their lineup a while ago based on when they released it last year. The wait would make sense tho if they had to wait for a headliner to announce a tour

 

Speed was my first thought, and would be awesome. Although like someone else just mentioned Kruelty would be dope. They also will already be over here for that Dying Fetus tour so who knows.
