Finally saw this... I thought Chris Pratt looked dead behind the eyes in Love & Thunder and the Guardians Holiday Special but Brie Larson is on another level here.

 

That’s absolutely not in my three. Good opening night theater experience, and an improvement after FFH, but not at all “a good movie.”

Shout out to my boy Andrew Garfield though!

You mean “justice for the Jack Kirby creation The Eternals, which was very much so not done justice by the usually great Chloé Zhao under the Marvel Studios system”? If so, I agree.

Kieron Gillen & Esad Ribić did some very good issues in recent years though.

I’m not going to argue that Eternals is a good movie, but rewatches have left me entertained.

 

I liked Eternals more than Quantumania and The Marvels

 

Yeah quantumania is dogshit put on film so

 

When I was watching quantumania in the theaters I was pretty much doing this the entire time



I felt so embarrassed to be watching it

 

I’m not a MODOK fan so I don’t really care, but if I was a fan I would be extremely displeased with his role

 

I guess I'm not really a big MODOK fan either, but the way he's been portrayed in comics varies wildly from credible threat to complete sap, so really they could have done anything with him and it would be comic accurate in some way.

 

Modok was so funny.

 

I have some thoughts on The Eternals if anyone would like to hear them :D

 

I haven’t seen this since theaters, but were there any earth views in this where we should see at least a little of the giant stone alien? Or do they avoid showing that part of the globe?
