at this point I think he just schedules shows to sell tickets and then cancel them with no intentions of playing the show so he can just keep his guarantee.

  16. She took down her post, and now her name is at the top of the lineup on the fest’s site. Haha. Maybe she was unhappy about her placement on the original flyer.

It’s becoming a trend that Lovers & Friends / WWWY either announces before finalizing artists or deals directly with their agents and does a horrible job of letting the artists know that they’re playing.

either way, it’s strange that it’s just those festivals and almost 3 years in, they still can’t stop doing it

Wonder how much those Timberlake shows will cost

  20. I'm still shocked at how much they botched the NSYNC "reunion." If that had been THIS tour, everything would sell out immediately. I have a feeling these JT tickets are gonna be way too pricey and probably won't sell super quickly.

True, but by not communicating with artists they've done a REALLY good job of keeping those lineups from leaking. It is really bizarre tho

I just don't get the JT appeal in 2024, granted I'm not part of the target demo (I'd assume women ages 35-50?). He seems like a pretty terrible husband/partner and a rather pedestrian artist now. He seemed like he was decades ahead of everyone else with FS/LS (even though this was all the work of Timbaland) but then he just stagnated and never really did anything else.

Always comes off as an artist who needs a great production team around him to succeed (Pharrell/Timbaland).

Feel like these fests are dealing with the agents for these artists and the agents themselves suck at communicating it to the artist they work with

I feel like this is just someone to complain about... 3 years in and we haven't had a band not appear after being announced soooo... ? (nor have I heard of a band disgruntled they had to go through with playing at a kick ass fest).

TBH, I feel like when the dust settled with that first WWYF it was apparent that all artists were aware they were playing to some extent but simply weren't aware of the festivals name and/or the majority of the line-up. I definitely saw a few bands from year 1 saying they just knew it was a "festival in Vegas" with My Chem headlining and that was it.

Haven't seen or heard anything about bands "not being aware" since. It was a smart move keeping it vague, honestly.
