Looks like some copies of Boxcar Racer popped up after being initially sold out. Variant looked beautiful on Discogs so I placed an order despite trash shipping cost.

I can confirm this is a really nice variant and 180g. The only complaint is they ship in the shittiest mailer. I have a massive seam split on mine.

 

One of my only vinyl purchase regrets. I leaned heavily into the Underoath reunion and bought two copies. As Michael said, I only ever spin my 12" copy.

 

That’s annoying considering they charge you $11.24 for shipping.. but stoked about the variant being nice!

 

I'd say 80% of the records I buy in the mail have seam splits. I'm surprised when they don't have seam splits. You'd think after all these years somebody would come up with better sleeve technology.

 

Wow, that is very high. I’ve probably gotten 20 or less records with seam splits. Majority of people or stores use the very sturdy mailers and pack well.

 

I don’t really mind when the split is on top, but when it’s on the spine I get irrationally mad/disappointed.

 

Must be my post office or something. I've had some roughed up mailers.

Saw on Coheed's subreddit this variant is back up for now. Debated waiting for the Circa preorder but was afraid it might be gone by then so I went ahead and ordered.

Picked up the Circa records. I have them, but they look pretty, so, I bought them. That's how this hobby works sometimes.
