Has become a bit obsolete, but could still be good for showcasing/elevating New Japan's younger guys. Can see Tony being willing to do them some favors.

 

Okada, Omega, Jay White, Will Ospreay all in the same promotion at the same time again would be absolutely amazing, but I kind of get a vibe he is TNA’s big signing that TNA hinted at a while ago.

Ah didn’t realize he signed full time there. Thought he was floating around on the indies for a bit.

 

Hard to not feel bad for New Japan. Losing Okada feels like something you can’t really come back from.

They’ve lost a large majority of their top guys over the last 8 years to WWE and later on to AEW. Bushiroad just doesn’t have the bag to compete with WWE or AEW. They might not even have the bag to compete with TNA at this point.

I hope AEW continues to work with them and exchange talent when possible and I hope TNA/NJPW can keep working together.

 

A friend of mine said Okada is the biggest news in Puroresu since Misawa’s death. I don’t disagree.

 

Impact is pretty open with indie bookings so it looks like he'll be doing everything. I do wonder how long his deal is, though.

idk man, i just watched Jay White get 10 years of hype shaved off with him via power washer. Okada to WWE. AEW is finally focusing on what it has and the shows have been much better for it, the Swerves of the world don't need an Okada coming in while we are still waiting on Ospreay
