I think Jeff Nichols' The Bikeriders and Robert Eggers's Nasferatu are both going to be fantastic

I think Joker: Folie a Deux will be good

Twisters and Kingdom of The Planet of the Apes are going to be fun as hell

I want Alien: Romulus, Gladiator 2, and Beetlejuice 2 to be good, but not holding my breath

That Coen Brother movie with Geraldine Viswanathan that got delayed comes out next month. The horny Zendaya tennis movie comes out in spring. The Glenn Powell “Hitman” movie comes out this year.

Actually, you know what looks like a pretty fun movie to me? That new Diablo Cody one, Lisa Frankenstein. I saw that trailer before something and was like, oh, that’ll probably be a good time!

I wouldn't rank those two near Scorsese's best but it would still be great is he came out of retirement again.

There are some people who love The Age of Innocence. It is maybe the best post-Goodfellas-pre-Wolf of Wall Street film from Scorsese.

 

I'm a big fan of the Age of Innocence. It's much better than Gangs, which contains brilliance but is towards the bottom of my personal ranking. It's restrained Scorsese, mostly stillness and subtext, and I think Schoonmaker's editing really emphasizes how much is being repressed
