Annoyed by my cat fucking body slamming me for two hours straight on a regular basis until she gets fed. Her tiny feet fucking hurt on my stomach haha. She's almost 13 and finds new ways to annoy us daily, I just want her to chill the eff out

 

How long it takes my health insurance to process a claim. When I submit a claim to my dog's pet insurance, it's fully processed within a couple of days. For my health insurance, I'm lucky if there seems to be no telling when they'll get to it. I get that health insurance is complicated, but why does it take that much longer?

I work in health insurance and honestly anywhere from a week to a year. Shit is fucked.

 

I work in medical billing and yeah it's all fucked. the insurance companies make you jump through hoops to get claims processed/paid

 

I'm still waiting on my hospital to try and send some better codes to insurance after they denied my claim and left me with a $24k bill

most states if it doesn’t get processed within a year they can’t bill you!

The price was different in store vs online at Old Navy and they have separate customer service for both so I couldn't do a price match

 

My bathroom sink has had a leak for months. I’ve had it looked at like 4 times. Every time we think we’ve got it only for it to start leaking again. This time I said fuck it and got a whole new vanity/sink and had him replace basically everything. No leak until like 4 hours later and it’s fucking leaking again!!!! I’m now gonna have to break down and hire a plumber which is gonna cost a fortune and I’m not happy about it at all! I wanted a new vanity anyway so that’s fine but I really thought we got it this time!

I've been wanting to upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment. My apartment manager rarely responds to my emails about it but will respond to my bf? Enough that I'm wondering if my emails go to their spam but they've responded to me before, just not consistently. And if they respond to my bf's email and he cc's me so I'm in the loop, they don't reply all and they take me off of it. I've sent two emails now asking to schedule an inspection with no response. I was going to upgrade within my same building but it makes me want to switch to an entirely new property.

 

Have you tried just calling them? Honestly I had the same issue with a landlord before and realized if I called them they'd answer or get back to me right away

 

No just cause their operating hours are my work hours so it's tough. My bf has some weekdays off and was gonna go in there this week but he got the flu

There is lowkey a cuter apartment building I like more which is a lil more expensive and with less amenities (tho the amenities at my current building are never working anyway). I agreed with my bf to stay in our current building cause it's a lil cheaper but am kinda segueing this to revisit renting with the cuter apartments. The cuter apartments are also in a great location and has an underground parking garage! But I'm always worried when I leave an apartment because the next landlord might be worse. That happened to me before. I didn't realize I had it made and how small my complaints were until I moved into a different building and it was 100x worse. Ugh.

 

I have a big rash on my forehead that looks like eczema or little tiny pimples or dots. I think it’s from a new face/beard wash I got for Christmas. I’ll stop using it and hope it helps, but it still inches. Ugh.

 

I know my cousins mean well but they’re so oblivious to most things with money. They know I’m looking at buying a house/condo so they’ll send me links to houses for sale but they’re all like $400K minimum lol. It’s just me, I don’t need a 5 bedroom house with 4 bathrooms to take care of. Nor can I or do I want to spend $400K on a fucking house.

 

I had a sandwich with scratchy bread and now the roof of my mouth is all tore up and I have to brush my teeth and it sounds very unpleasant.

 

But was the sandwich worth it

 

Same shit from my mom she doesn't understand how I have no savings when half my pay goes to rent. Like yeah maybe if I lived like a hermit I'd save but why the hell would I live in the city then

 

It was an okay sandwich. Better than I would make at home anyway!
