Until today I confused Fred Again with The Color Fred and was very confused about some of these recent festival billings. I’m an idiot.

Aside from Fred Again the Bonnaroo headliners are pretty disappointing. BUT the undercard has some cool gets. The Dashboard Confessional Superjam sounds like it would be so much fun. Also really cool to see The Maine and Taking Back Sunday on a major fest like this.
Mars Volta, Maggie Rogers, Interpol, Carly Rae Jepsen and The Japanese House are exciting additions too.

CRJ at 'Roo got my hoping she's relatively active next year, though I assume it's probably just touring

Main take aways from Bonnaroo lineup are that I hope the Maine plays Lolla this year, and Thursday might actually be the best day of the lineup this year. It's pretty decent overall though. The Dashboard Superjam sounds fun. Really cool to see them give that to emo this year

They are actually named after the song "The Red" by Chevelle. The part where he screams "seeing Fred again".

i feel like Bad Omens is just that band right now for people. they sold out some pretty good sized venues on their last tour really fast. you might be right that an ampitheater is a bit large, but if any modern up and coming rock group can do that, it’s Bad Omens.

I agree the undercard has got the goods here....there are actually names on the bottom lines of each day that I recognize..shout out to Half Moon Run...anyone going to Bonnaroo try to check them out....great band!

i feel like bonnaroo is a deep lineup with weak headliners while boston calling is a weak lineup with strong headliners.

  13. Boston Calling has MARIS on the lineup and I'm so stoked for her! She rules

YUP! But honestly headliners are underwhelming for both

Where art thou Coachella - isn't there some weird clause that wouldn't hold in court that certain festivals can't announce their lineups before them?

Really wish Acacia would just do their own headliner doing the same thing they're doing here. Don't feel the crowds going to be that into them opening for BTBAM. And they did something similar for Slow Decay and I think Wormwood a couple years ago.

Don't shoot the messenger here on this one but I've been noticing activity on the Moose Blood Instagram page (mainly just live photos and photos of them rehearsing in an empty venue). Would not be shocked to see them stage a comeback.

I know they kicked out the drummer but was there more issues with them?

Eddy has allegations against him stating that he took nudes off of someone's phone that they were staying at while on tour.

I think this is only when Coachella shares headliners/subheadliners with other fests.
There's speculation of The Killers being on the Coachella lineup, but if it's gonna be billed as a Hot Fuss set then I guess there's nothing wrong with the Boston Calling announcement (assuming that the rumors are true).

Coachella actually dropped on Thursday, nobody’s noticed it yet.
