Yeah just because people like the video and are sharing it because it reminds them of WMAA doesn't mean it's good. I'd bet a large amount of those people wouldn't have cared about the video if it weren't for nostalgia

Would be hilarious if their first album without Tom was their first to be Grammy nominated

 

As much as I enjoyed the album, there are a number of other rock albums that were released this past year that I think would be far more deserving... I also can't really see the Grammy committee hearing "Built This Pool" and saying "Yep. This is the best thing this year", haha.

 

I thought about this the other day honestly. #1 album, By far the best selling rock album of the year, Dominated radio, Mainstream media takes them seriously. If they get even nominated they deserve it.

 

Above that doubled green days first week numbers, and hugely out sold the chilli peppers. This band is killing it right now.

 

I wouldn't hold the Grammy committee to high standards, though.

 

The Green Day record is still better though. Not Grammy worthy, but neither is California.

 

yeah, neither of those is close to Grammy worthy haha

 

I couldn't care less about a Grammy honestly. Untitled will always be their peak and if that didn't get considered, the band never will.

Grammys have become a bigger joke than the VMAS at this point.. it's like Out of alllll the music that is released throughout the year, they only listen to Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Rihanna, and Beyoncé. Grammys do not represent the best music nowadays. It's rigged, nothing is sacred anymore

 

I have to admit a few things you listed are among the best music this year though.

 

Fine if you think that, but then use the video itself to argue for it's quality, not people's reaction to it. Talk about what the video does, not the fact that people are sharing it.
