Definitely the most interesting song of the 3. I like it. The bridge rules and for a Dan song, I’d say it’s on par with Agony and Irony, which I adore.

Main riff and some other parts of the song actually reminds me of early Hawthorne Height too.

 

New song rips. Does anyone know if Dan writes the guitar parts for his songs?

 

I assume he does, because his songs tend to feature arpeggios and Matt doesn't really do that on his own songs.

 

didn't they say this time around they wrote all the songs in the same room together, which they hadn't done since the early days? it seems like this one was a lot more collaborate than just Dan and Matt bringing their own songs to the sessions premade

 

Yeah Matt said they were all together and built the songs from the ground up together

Also said they wrote all the music first and then did lyrics

 

Yeah i don’t get the hate for the hello exile production- the drums sound fucking huge it’s awesome

 

What do y’all think Versions is about? I’m a bit confused on it.

"Are you staying in tonight? Depressed to the nines" is a very ALK3 lyric, love it.

 

Sounds like a classic Trio song. I like it but was my least favorite of the 3 released. Probably because I’m not a Dan guy really at all.

 

So does Matt or Dan play the guitar on Dan’s songs on ITTC? Dan’s songs sounds like a completely different guitar tone/style, and I’ve always wondered..

 

Very excited for the whole record. I listened to each single a couple of times. So far seems like a great continuation of where they left off on Is This Thing Cursed with some really strong throwbacks to classic AK3.

 

idk but I find myself wondering this with some blink songs where mark was the primary songwriter. That definitely happened on Neighborhoods lol

After listening Versions Of You on repeat the whole day yesterday,I can’t honestly say which of the songs is my favorite.Every single one of them has its charm and it’s unique it’s own way.

lol didn't see this back when they first posted it. Or maybe I did, forgot, and got to laugh at it all over again!

 

Just saw Dan's recent post on IG and was pleasantly surprised to see Worriers have been added on. Really really hoping it's for the whole tour.

 

Looks to be the entire tour.

 

So… uh… this is out there. Very bummed for the band, as I know how hard they worked on it.
