Xc3 is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’ve gotten a bit into 1 but need to finish it

 

Having a great time with kena. Just got to the mage boss. I love how challenging the bosses are in this game. Def not a “souls like” but most games like this have complete push over/sponges for boss fights

 

no, you're fine. Requiring precise aiming at 30fps with a controller no less should land you in The Hague.

(and there's no excuse as the 60fps mode was added late in development)

 

Not to take away from XB1 but I can see somewhat how it started out as a non xeno title. With gears being my fav game of all time and saga being a mixed bag results but STILL one hell of a story, XB1 just seemed to not really have that "xeno-ness" that Takahashi/Saga were known for in the previous games (until the last act tho). I did hear that XB2 and especially 3 lean into that classic xeno feel.

Now that's a title I haven't heard of in so long. Count me interested in Penny

 

The most important words are Shadow Hearts. Phenomenal PS2 era jrpgs.

The wild arms devs are also doing a new game called Armed Fantasia which also looks like a spiritual successor, much like the shadow hearts devs are doing Penny.

 

Wow A JRPG idk about. I didn't know they existed.

 

I'm so stoked for all of that. Now if someone could make a spiritual successor to Brave Fencer Musashi, we'd be set.
