I don't have enough energy to give a shit about anything she says. She just rattles off so much nonsense and tries making enlightened points but it all comes off as being extremely detached from reality.

tl;dr - the bassist repeatedly sexually assaulted the OP and the OP told the rest of the band about it who defended the bassist after talking to him about it

Double edit: Looks like they kicked the bassist out of the band.

 

Just checked Roman Candles' insta, looks like they posted an update and kicked him out immediately. Not saying that absolves the rest of them from wrongdoing, just wanted to update.

 

Oh that’s at least something. I was just going off of what was in the screenshots but I re-edited my post.

Edit: Here is what they said, although the OP said they told the band about it and the band defended the bassist so this statement seems a bit fishy.

Yeah, reading through those stories makes me think this is maybe one of those things that should have been dealt with in a different way. In what way, I couldn't tell you. It's obviously important to know about abuse happening and being covered up, but it's difficult to follow when you're so far away from the situation and the accuser also seems to be guilty of absuive actions. Idk. Been thinking about the potential collective harm of turning everything into IG/notes app accusations and apologies a lot lately.

 

I will say, I've seen Piper interact with trans women on Twitter (specifically Ashley from Foxcult) and it was... not good. Whole band seems pretty rotten.

it’s different. Last one was for like actual trafficking and this is a specific instance with one person.

yeah the vibes around them is very very dark

 

TI and Tiny have waaaay more than two accusations floating around. I stopped listening to his records a long time ago for this reason (and I liked a bunch of them).
