I have no idea what was said, but it's probably not that awkward. Chris Paul and Reddick used to strongly dislike one another back in college at Wake and Duke. They even confirmed what most thought on Reddick's podcast. Now they start on the same team together. That stuff usually fades away in the pros and with time.

I like that trade for Philly if it's just for picks. Tyus is developing into a solid player. I think him and Bayless would be a decent duo at PG for right now.

If they can flip one of those bigs for a reliable scoring 2/3 player they'll be doing things right.

 

I'd love the Cavs to get a backup point now that Felder is in concussion protocol. I never really bought him playing heavy rotation minutes regardless. I have my doubts about Shumpert and McRae as long-term answers at that position. I also realize LeBron can take a lot of load off there, but the idea in the regular season is to continue to monitor his minutes, be in the game or in games played. I want the Monsituatiin settled and to find a PG to absorb via trade exception.

 

Tyus to Cavs would be cool

 

Would definitely be a full circle move. There is talk about Jarett Jack that is not very exciting haha. Apparently they are also monitoring a group of free agents that are hurt in Rio, Norris Cole, and someone else that I forget. Tyus is definitely the most interesting, and healthy!

 

Bulls waived Spencer Dinwiddie and now I hate them again.

Also salaries have to match and that's a drastic difference. Pekovic corpse would have to be part of it.

I filled the last spot with sol. I think when you have a league for awhile ESPN doesn't let randos in or whatevs. Its weird. Yahoo is more lax. I cant get yahoo fantasy app on my phone, otherwise id join another league.

Just had a lunch with Timberwolves GM Scott Layden, President Chris Wright, and two local newspaper reporters. Basically they talked about the upcoming season, their thoughts on Thibs, his coaching style/work ethic, how the top guys (KAT, Wiggins, Lavine, Rubio) will grow this season, Target Center renovations, where they see the team in 3 years, etc. Nothing really surprising was said, but after hearing their utmost confidence and praise of Thibs, and the success they believe he can get out of these awesome players, the hype train is really picking up steam now. I absolutely can't wait to see how these guys perform this season
