They definitely have some bad ones but I've enjoyed a fair amount. I also like Undone, Bosch, Reacher, The Wilds, Upload, The Expanse, probably some others forgetting

But Netflix gave Snyder like 170 million for whatever the hell Rebel Moon is. I feel like Citadel is a least a bit more watchable

 

Haha. That’s true. I’m salty about something I already was “paying for” giving me ads out of the blue and having 3-4 things at best I’ve enjoyed in the last year.

 

I live in Dallas and thought I was SOL when it came to Kanopy but found out that any Texas resident can get a free digital Houston library card. I did this and was able to get Kanopy that way. Out of state residents can get one for $40 a year, which is a lot cheaper than most streaming services, but you may do a little research and see what other options there are for non-local library cards. https://houstonlibrary.org/mylink

 

Oh yeah it’s complete bullshit. I definitely enjoy more Amazon releases than Netflix, but not enough to give them more money. So off to plex their catalog goes now.

Also just to talk more shit on Rebel Moon. It’s just baffling to me that it’s getting a director’s cut when the director had full control of the original cut. It just makes absolutely no fucking sense.

 

Netflix wanted a more commercially viable option. Having two versions is goofy af but this is Snyder after all

 

I shouldn’t have said it makes no sense because that’s fair. Just the way they went about it is so dumb. You announce a 3 hour R-rated “director’s cut” of a movie basically at the same time you announce the regular version and have the director from the start saying “my 3 hour cut is the real version”. Now you have all the Snyder fanboys telling people that think the movie sucks, which it does, that they just have to wait because it’s not the real version and that one will be good. But they’ll also tell you the PG-13 version is the best movie ever in the same breath.

 

Yeah. Snyder saying the directors cut is his real version is a bad look for sure. I hadn’t seen that. And I think Snyder fanboys will ride his dick no matter what he did. Netflix is claiming something like 24million people watched it too

 

I’ve been catching up on Industry and the end of 2.06 with the Jamie XX ”Gosh” drop was fucking out of this world

 

Amazon can get fucked for not finishing the expanse imo
