Ahh yeah I just looked and you a correct. That would be why it doesn't feel like it was as much of a Sheridan show.

But I'd have to buy paramount+.

    I already have 7 services.

With paramount that is one of the ones I bought an annual sub to.

  4. I canceled all of mine but only because I need to catch up on my dvd backlog

I’m curious how the Yu Yu Hakusho Netflix show is. It’s only five episodes and I heard it doesn’t cover it all. The manga is on my list to read after Hunter Hunter. @SpeckledSouls I know you like the anime…did you watch this yet?

    Reasons to sub to Paramount+

    • You are a Star Trek fan
    • You like Sheridan and Sheridan adjacent westerns and middlebrow dramas
    • You want your kids check out all the Nicktoons you grew up watching
    • There is a Showtime show you want to watch so you sub for a month to check it out
    • You love CBS cop procedurals and are also 70
    • You love classic sitcoms
    • You are obsessed with Drag Race ( only reason my mom subs to it )

All the Star Treks, Frasier reboot, The Curse, and Yellowjackets make it worth the price for me.

I know Yellow jackets is supposed to be good, but I can't get by dark shit like that. Like, I want to, but some fucked up things happen from what I heard.

Then yeah, definitely don’t watch it. It gets super dark.

I'll never understand that kind of stuff, there are people that find it fascinating and that kind of makes sense to me, but then there are people who get off to that kind of stuff and like that's a majority of what they consume.

I think when horror done well is an art form.
I don’t really “get off on it”, but it’s one of my favorites. To make a film or show that can scare you takes skill.

Oh yeah, I totally don't disagree with that. There are some psychological horrors that are insanely well done and I can't even fathom the skill it took to write those scripts and direct them.

There's just a subset of people I've noticed online who like... romanticize that kind of stuff I guess. They're very into blood covered bodies and rape, abuse, etc and that makes me queezy. I hate seeing bad things happen to good people.

from what i've heard it's very much a speedrun of the anime and potentially skips a whole beloved arc.

  16. I only watched the first season of Handmaid's Tale, it got way too real during Turnip years and just kept going. I have my own threshold for horror shit but that show's something else

I have not watched it. I watched some clips and read some reviews and it's just not for me. Power to the people who like it, but it just cuts so much content and character development from what I've read. They also changed Yusuke's personality to fit the brooding nature of the show and I'm not about that.

Hopefully it will lead to a good resurgence though.

It’s not just Drag Race, Paramount is pretty good if you’re a reality fan in general. The entire back catalogs of Survivor, Big Brother, The Challenge, Real World, etc is more than enough for my sub.

One underrated part of Paramount+ that never gets attention: they have probably the largest library of stand up comedy in streaming
