I don't like Swift at all, but the Daily Mail is just tabloid and has been noted for a long time as being trash.

So take everything you read from them with a grain of salt and do more research.

 

I just think it's odd to single her out. Is she really using that much more than other celebrities? Seems weird to pretend people like Drake, Kanye, Musk, Kardashians, any NFL owner, etc. aren't doing the exact same shit, they just get away with it because they don't have her level of popularity.

 

As if buying carbon credits actually does anything more than generate positive PR. They're a complete crock of shit.

 

I would also like to know this. I feel like if she's being "exposed" everyone else should be.

 

I remember Kylie Jenner got shit for taking short flights places in the past but the focus should definitely be on private jets in general because people like Musk definitely use them probably just as frequently.

ETA: Elon Musk's private jets took 441 flights this year this article was just posted yesterday so at least the focus is hopefully shifting to others too and not just Taylor.

 

We just need all billionaires to not be billionaires.

Taylor is the face of it because she is one of the few individuals who own their own jet. (She actually owns two, and she is a co-owner with her parents and brother. They have their own “airline”). Owning and maintaining a jet is obviously very expensive so most people charter their private flights. We will never get numbers on Drake, the Biebers, or anyone who charters. And often times, when you charter a flight, you are paying for the jet to fly back empty because it’s more profitable for the charter company, so you *could* argue that that’s worse. Also, there is no way to know who is actually on Taylor’s jets when they are being used.

 

There’s no way Taylor Swift being on a commercial flight would be safe for anyone on that flight. Which I know has been stated here before. But I don’t know what these publications are after when they single her out on this specifically. She can’t even go to a friend’s wedding without hoards of people showing up. Being in an enclosed space that you can’t leave with Taylor Swift is a nightmare scenario

 

People also forget that she has like, dozens of stalkers out there who are actively trying to kill her. Y’all can fly with her if you want but I’m gonna be taking the next flight.

Yup. And you also have to consider how many of them and incidents aren’t publicized. She has all the resources in the world and stalkers still get through

 

This world is fucked. The amount of people who cult like worship her is disturbing and then the people who crazily want to murder her are disgusting.

We rounded a strange corner a few years ago where an opinion on her was a personality trait. It’s frustrating and genuinely a little scary. Like, you can just dislike her music and move on. You can also like her music and not care about her personal life. It got so black and white and has contributed to a lot of the problems with fandoms. Being a stan was never a good thing and now here we are

 

Pretty much any notable celeb has had someone show up to their house that data should be private

 

This summer, I was on vacation with my family in Rhode Island and we were trying to find a certain beach and definitely ended up driving past her house. It was very clear which one was hers as there were a bunch of not-so-subtle bodyguards around the premises, street side. I'd honestly never seen anything like it.

 

Yeah, that I’m not surprised by, but having multiple people actively trying to kill her.
