My advice would be to actually see them live rather than forming an opinion on poorly shot videos on YouTube. The live show is incredible and the members are consistently bouncing around the stage. Sonically one of the best shows I’ve seen all year.

Well, if you really dig in, a lot of the songs don't have guitar/bass for a lot of the time. That said, I believe they have a serious backline, especially with the heavier parts, but Id recommend seeing them live. III and IV move around a lot.

 

Also - Thank god this band wasn't around during AIM days. Away message lyrics for days.

both releases have been logged on Discogs and sold in record stores, so it's frustrating that those who ordered online are still waiting

 

That's what prompted me to reach out last week. With any preorders that go past the designated ship date, I check Discogs to see if people have gotten it yet. Once I saw the EU preorders were posted, I figured the US ones would ship soon....but here we are.

Anyway, this is my AOTY.

 

One of the few rock albums that truly feels like a breakout and watershed moment for the genre. It’s up there for me

 

I’m one of those “I appreciate what they’re doing, but it’s not for me” though about 50% of the time on this album there’s something going on I like. I need to listen again and add some songs I like to a playlist.

 

Not sure how I like that tbh…looks too much like a Slipknot copy

 

My first thought was Mushroomhead. It feels like a decent departure from the masks they had.
