yeah idk what was actually posted on here but there was a ton of stuff going around about Owens a few years ago about the predictable underage girl stuff.

 

i am shocked.

 

I thought everyone knew Owens was a creep, but racist asshole is new. I ran into him with my then gf at warped tour when we were 14-15 and he was creepy as fuck towards her and barely acted like I was even there. Of course we were young and dumb and didn’t really realize it was creepy until we looked back on it years later.

 

Haven’t posted/watched this thread in a while and I apologize if this isn’t the right place to post this, but does anyone happen to know/have more info on this? A slew of people on Twitter are accusing LJG of being a union-buster? I’m kind confused about this situation

I don’t think he had much to do with this iteration of SharpTooth he was in promo photos and might’ve played on the last EP but hasn’t been involved with that band on a day to day basis for a while

 

dunno if this is old news but Jon from Point North hyping himself up for working with Ronnie Radke. word.

 

i mean yeah, ronnie sucks, evergreen post, but this dude just seems proud of his music? unless he himself has done something im unaware of?

 

i mean... unless we're at the point where it's not news anymore because "it's ronnie," i feel like the issue is right there. dude chose to work with him, write with him, is singing his praises and talking to him in the comments about working with him again. and looking at the song itself, and the lyrics, it just seems like, why go that route? i know all the usual talking points, "what do you expect / are you really surprised" and all that, but i don't feel less disappointed by that.

last thing i'm interested in is arguing about anything RR. this is a letdown to me, but that's about all i have to say.

 

Let me start by saying Radke is trash and there is indeed an option to not work with trash.

However, I'm also trying to imagine being an up-and-coming musician, looking for opportunities, and someone relatively famous is wanting me to write a song with them for their project.

I can understand why someone might not say no, even if the person is trash.

 

So much for Cudi distancing himself from Kanye…

 

I do agree with this, however, why call him out as a "visionary" yadda yadda yadda in his post? Just leave him out of it and be proud.

I remember hearing shit about Craig Owens being a creep as early as 2007 but I only had the words of people I knew personally to go off of. But I guess some of the people in this thread also heard the same things so it brings me some comfort knowing I'm not fucking crazy and didn't like, hallucinate all of that

I never heard about Austin till way after he left OMM. But yeah Craig owens and Johnny Craig I feel like have been known about since forever ago
