This album didn't grab me when it came out, but I've been really into it lately. Looking forward to checking out that MIRSY album soon

On their recent tour with Harm’s Way they had the most active and well attended crowd as one of the openers at my city’s date. Most people left after they (Fleshwater) played

They’re probably going to get the success I thought Vein was going to get prior to Covid

  9. There's no way this has only been out for a year, is there? I was just about to say I was surprised we hadn't gotten new music yet, I thought this was like early 2021.

Don’t know what absolute brain genius decided their headliner should hit Beat Kitchen and not somewhere bigger in Chi but I got my ticket thankfully

Much like the Vein remixes I actually find myself going back to Sounds of Grieving a lot

Listened to Hardlore w Marisa today and she let it slip that they ran out of time to do vocals at God City for this album bc the dudes were too busy geeking out about Converge with Kurt Ballou but also that “we booked more time for the next one” so it sounds like they might be recording with him again

Saw Fleshwater last night in SF on their first night of tour with Modern Color and wow.. I underestimated how big they’re getting.

The entire tour has already been sold out and the line to get into the venue was so long that it took over an hour to get in and I almost missed Modern Color. Didn’t realize Fleshwater was clearing over 500k active listeners a month on Spotify alone. It was an all ages show too so it was rowdy but the kids don’t know proper show etiquette and were acting like fools lol

Anyways stoked for the band, I love this project, but I’m starting to feel like Vein.FM is going to be put on a shelf for a while :(

The last Vein album didn’t really do much for me and I haven’t listened to it since around the time it came out.

This album, however, has been in pretty regular rotation every few months. I love it more and more every listen, so I’m more than happy if this band becomes more active than Vein

  24. Feel like this came out forever ago. Surprised it's only been a year and a half

Happy for their success but I’m bummed that Vein is likely on the back burner now
