    Things have changed.

It's also still a venue scramble post-COVID. Rooms are booked a year in advance (sometimes more) and as a result some bands need to go larger or smaller than they normally would to fill a tour.

    I hear an echo

STYG are cool but they are definitely in that phase of a low turnout and over saturation of touring. The same thing happened to Bane. But they ALWAYS bring great openers so this holds up.

Idk, if I you would have asked me a year ago that if Hot Mulligan would be selling out an entire tour of 1,000+ cap venues I would have said you're out of your mind but here we are. Bands blow up out of nowhere. Bad Omens is another good example.

This is KK’s first U.S. headliner since the previous decade and they will likely have a new album out in the coming months. This tour will absolutely sell well. Hoping for a NC or VA date for the next leg.

The tour will sell out in thriving scenes like the 1400 cap venue in Berkeley

Wow this is an excellent lineup. I love how they pushed the envelope a bit with older acts that are kind of punk-askew (Quicksand and RFTC immediately got my attention). Heavy emphasis on newer bands getting a lot of hype too. Would love to hit this up

  7. Devo, Madness, Descendents, and Quicksand all on one fest is like... perfection. And then you throw in like 5 of those other bands, and it's an absolute no brainer. If my wife's bday wasn't on May 26th, I'd absolutely be there...

Hot Mulligan's trajectory to bigger venues was definitely noticeable. You'll Be Fine was doing phenomenal over the pandemic, wound up on a ton of people's end of the year lists, I Won't Reach Out to You further cemented that. Then there was massive walkouts after they played opening for Knuckle Puck in 2022 and a lot of people saying it should have been a co-headliner and/or HM headlining, and then WWIW turned out to be even better and bigger than YBF. Bad Omens had a huge Tiktok bump during the pandemic. To my knowledge KK has had none of that.

KK has been direct support for The Acacia Strain and Thy Art is Murder multiple times, and have done tours with Terror and Movements. Combine that with all the one-offs and festival appearances, there’s demand. They probably aren’t filling Live Nation venues anytime soon, but neither are other metalcore/hardcore bands of similar size (Counterparts, Harms Way, etc)

I’m here for whoever wants to start some social media trend with one of their songs tho.

This further backs up whoever mentioned the possible Dying Fetus spring ‘24 headliner.

Coming up on 5 years since I saw Devo on their "final run" of shows

They posted a statement recently asking fans to ignore all advertisements of their shows being “final” or “farewell” shows. Apparently the promoter put it there in order to move tickets. But they aren’t planning on slowing down

That Dying Fetus show is supposed to go on sale tomorrow according to the ticket link, so I'd say probably full announcement today or tomorrow.

i think it was Glass but my mom got shut out of Charlotte this morning despite getting in line like 45 minutes early. Cheapest she saw was like $350 for not great seats. Shit was wild.

I'm so glad I like Kublai Khan TX so I'll never know what it's like to be in a crowded sold out situation like this

That looks like so much fun. Packed like rats and a bathroom roughly a mile away. Sounds like NYC on new years.

Kublai Khan date for me is 500 cap. Thought that was appropriate but guess it's small now lol

I've got general admission floor Swift tickets in Germany. Curious if it'll be similar.
