I'm fine with Texas in it though. They should be #3 not #4 though

Pac 12 and the ACC being the two conferences that have winning records against other P5 conferences is not what I was expecting to see. Big 12 is .500 against them and then Big 10 and SEC with losing records.

I feel like FSU is gonna be left out, as crazy as that sounds. Committee has plenty of time to make a decision and not rush to an end result but I don’t think it helped FSU that their offense looked like shit and they were the final major game tonight. That awful offense is now the last thing the committee watched before going to bed lol

Entertainment wise, essentially any combo of Michigan, Washington, Texas, Alabama would be good to see and outcomes wouldn’t be super favored one way or another in my opinion. You put FSU in there and ehhhhhhhhhh I don’t know what happens but it feels like we’d get a semifinal game result like when Michigan State was in the playoff or Washington with Browning.

Of course “entertainment value” isn’t how the playoff gets decided but unless the committee knows for sure 100% that the FSU back up is playing (which he should be if these games are 4 weeks away) I think they’d get left out and stress the “how the team is playing now” part of the decision making process.

I know the Big Ten is mostly dogshit but how the fuck did Iowa win ten games. Can’t tell if their coach is an underrated genius for somehow always winning 8-10 games or he’s a total doofus that has no concept of what offenses are and kicks out with great defense/DC’s. Probably both!

But they’ll probably toss in FSU instead

If FSU should get in automatically, I guess what’s the point of the committee? It seems like they were put together for this exact purpose/situation to be able to make a hard choice. If we’re not taking additional factors into consideration, then let’s just use the computers again and call it a day.

arguing about fsu is uninteresting lol. they’re obviously in. there’s never been an undefeated acc champ left out of the playoff. it’s between texas and the sec teams, and more realistically, probably just texas and bama. seems pretty clear if you think about it for more than two seconds which one of those is in

It would be wild and appalling to me that neither Bama or Georgia would be considered one of the four best teams. Obviously, I'm aware Georgia can't get in unless both are taken and there's too much of a logjam for that to happen. But holy shit, FSU is insanely boring and uninteresting and that's such an easy no for me. Shame on Louisville last night for being the absolute worst team I've ever watched.

Big Ten West is even more dogshit, its the white dog shit of the Big Ten. Then you add this onto the pile of shit.

Maybe we should be talking about Michigan missing out due to the weakness of their conference

    Washington
    FSU
    Texas
    bama

(this would never happen, but I’m taking most of the ACC vs the bottom 2/3 of the big ten)

And the fact that they cheated and will probably have this season vacated…

I would be willing to bet a significant amount of money that the punishment will not be anywhere near vacated wins or seasons.

Not taking Florida state because they're boring is obviously not a legitimate reason to not take them

Michigan's SOS is like four places away from Georgia's so would you have kept them out if they had won because its about the same?

it was a joke suggestion with zero actual thought or reasoning just based on the shitty Iowa performance

I know, I actually thought Georgia's would higher and Michigan's lower. Plus this is the last year that any of the big Big Ten schools will have a such a low SOS. Good lord is Michigan's schedule next year insane and you add to that they have Texas at home in the non conference.
