Georgia might be cooked. Give me Michigan, Washington, Florida State and Texas. Texas beating Alabama in their own place should have them ahead of Alabama. I’d laugh so hard if the SEC didn’t get a team in lol

After all that we’re gonna get two SEC teams in again. No one deserves this

UGA and Alabama both still deserve it over FSU and Texas

I’d love this, but zero chance it happens

FSU is definitely in if they win. College football has never cared about being nuanced haha

I think Georgia and Alabama beat any other team in the top 8 handily, but if Michigan/FSU/Washington end 13-0 and Texas is the 12-1 conference champ (halfway there)… you gotta keep both out in the current system if Bama wins this game. And it would be hilarious. Ohio State can’t be in the conversation at all at this point, despite being ranked ahead of Texas and Bama this week.

I feel two ways about it. Georgia lucks out that they are number 1 all year so probably deserve a chance to repeat. If they were ranked one spot less they would be out. Texas kinda gets screwed in my opinion.

Yep. Winning your conference championship needs to be rewarded and head to head matchups need to matter. If Alabama gets in over Texas, it’s going to be such a BS SEC favoritism choice.

Liberty is an undefeated conference champion why aren't we talking about them?

Because conference USA is a joke. Also fuck Liberty and their dumbass politics.

So why do we use our brains for Liberty but not the rest of the league

Shouldn't be in if you lose your conference championship

Yeah if FSU loses I would go Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama.

No it's not lol all of these other teams get punished for losses. Georgia and Alabama aren't special. Should've played better and won the game?

Maybe Georgia shouldn’t have played UAB, Ball State, UT Martin and Georgia Tech in their non conference schedule. At least Bama and Texas actually played someone.

If Alabama hadn't lost to Texas, this game is #1 vs. #2. That would be incredibly stupid to not have the loser in the playoffs.

But they didn't beat Texas. They lost to them.
