Just looking back at old blink concerts I've gone to since TOYPAJ was released to see how many new songs from the current album they played on that tour:

TOYPAJ tour - they played 11 new songs, 2 of which were joke songs (Happy Holidays and Grandpa)
Pop Disaster Tour - they played 9 songs from TOYPAJ which was the currently album even if it had been released a year ago, 2 of which were the joke songs (Holidays and Grandpa)
Untitled Tour with No Doubt - they played 8 new songs from the Untitled album
Neighborhoods Tour - 4 new songs from Neighborhoods
Random 2013 Fall Tour - 5 songs from Neighborhoods, 2 songs from DED
California Tour - 6 or 7 new songs depending on the night you saw them, 2 of which were joke songs (Pool and Bro). The concert I went to the non joke songs I heard Cynical, Bored to Death, San Diego and LA.

Kind of disappointing that each tour they decreased the number of new songs from the latest albums, obviously part of the reason why is because their song catalog keeps getting bigger but it would have been nice if they expanded a bit of the newer stuff. Maybe next tour.

  2. but you have to also realize that they had more albums/singles with just about each tour too that they probably felt that they had to play.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

I do know one bad video doesn't affect how I feel about the song, and I'm still super excited to hear the b-sides that come out soon hopefully.

Stil loving California too. Listened to it yesterday, when I come back to it lately, I find myself enjoying No Future and Rabbit Hole a lot more. Such a singable album.

Whats up with Adam Devine (is that his name?) ? Ive seen it mentioend a lot with this - and I know hes the nurse - fine.

I google him, and he did a stand up act with announcing blink 182 for a tv show?

Is there more to this? I wouldnt know him from TV - the shows I saw listed, I do not watch.

Oh yeah absolutely. I even mentioned that in the post. They're in a tough position because they have so many hits so they don't want to leave them out but I still think they could do a 25 song set list including 6 or 7 new non joke songs from their current album that they're touring to support and still play some of their greatest hits to keep fans happy.

Off the top of my head you can do any 7 songs from California, along with:
    Carousel
    Dammit
    What's My Age Again
    All The Small Things
    Rock Show
    First Date
    STFTK
    Feeling This
    I Miss You
    Down

That's 17 songs right there so they can include another 5 songs from past albums. Maybe include 2 or 3 joke songs since they only take 30 seconds to play and I don't think they should count towards the set. And I think that's good start.

I actually listened to California straight through for the first time in a couple of weeks and I really really liked Bored to Death, No Future and Rabbit Hole more. I just think I completely played out those 3 songs when they were released and by the time the album came out I was sick of them. All 3 are such good songs. I think Rabbit Hole is a bit underrated now, it's too bad they didn't play it during their current tour. I agree with them I think it would have been a great song for the crowd.

1000% part of a Spotify deal they made which included streaming rights, the little week long countdown with new Blink content when the album came out, etc. There's no way there was any real input from Blink on this video. Right? RIGHT?!

He also has a bit about taking a girl to Blink 182 show as his first date and it going REALLY bad for him.

    Edit: Losing his virginity, whoops.

Yeesh. I already didn't like the song and the video didn't help. They look bored on stage and even the crowd looked bored!

Are you talking about the performance part of just that video? Because for the rest of it the crowd is the liveliest I've seen for a while. But the performance part was recorded after the real concert took place and all of it was edited into the video to make it look otherwise. They did a terrible job.

I'm 100% ok assuming Spotify is to blame for all of this and that Blink had nothing to do with it

BTW, when they recorded this performance the CD wasn't out so not sure anyone really knew the song in the crowd to sing along to

Yeah there's like a couple of parts where some people at the back of the crowd are just stood normally watching/talking then another part where like only 3 people are half heartedly waving their hands. I'm not ragging on the people because I like standing at the back perfectly still when watching bands haha. It's just weird that they aren't doing the clichéd hands in the air, hyped up video crowd thing. I have no idea why they included those shots.

Which part are you saying was done after the real show? The crowd or the band or both?

The band for sure. I'm assuming they took random shots of the crowd from the real show and put them in there.

I thought it was an ok video.Even if I dont know Adam Devine. I like the song. To me, it sounds like 'Pop Punk' - kinda catchy.

    Any other cameos in it?

On a related note, "She's Out of Her Mind' is infectious as fuck. I really can't get it out of my head today
